CONCRET MAINTENANCE TIPS

Maintenance Tips for New Installations:
Precision completes our hardscape installation with a concrete sealer, but it is recommended that the customer seal the surface again within the first year. There are two types of sealers: one that permeates the surface and one that coats the top surface Some sealers are clear, while others have a colored pigment--the choice is based on your personal preference.

  • Following installation, keep off surface for three days and keep vehicles off for one week.To avoid pitting on the concrete surface, remove excess fertilizer from hardscape.
  • Keep tree leaves and debris from accumulating on hardscape; over time, it will darken the surface.
  • Rock salt used to remove snow and ice will damage the hardscape.
  • Vehicles parked on newly-installed hardscapes will cause pitting in the surface due to the city street salt.
